Well Done, Lauren!

We saw LC on Laguna Beach, a sweet girl who loved headbands and flare jeans. After that, we followed Lauren for four years on The Hills  - yes, that lucky girl who interned with Teen Vogue, went to Paris for the Crillon Ball, and had countless dinner dates with Brody Jenner. As reality TV ended, we saw Ms. Lauren Conrad appear once again, now on the bookshelves (L.A. Candy, anyone?) I plead guilty of owning L.A. Candy, Sweet Little Lies, Sugar and Spice, and Style.

At the same time, we drove ourselves to Kohl's to check out the LC Lauren Conrad line. Let's be honest, if you've visited Kohl's recently, there is a good chance that you now own either a leather jacket, a floral top, or dark wash jeggings: LC Lauren Conrad. Don't worry, I've accumulated close to 13 or 14 pieces through the seasons - all of which have failed to disappoint! You may or may not know that she has recently expanded her line at Kohl's to include footwear as well as jewelry.

Lauren Conrad is now designing a new collection, Paper Crown, that's set to hit stores this fall! In collaboration with Maura McManus and Gary Samuelian, Lauren has succesfully designed a line that very much resembles her own wardrobe. Paper Crown carries a very sweet and sophisticated style. The collection includes soft-flowing maxis, leather separates, and several silk and chiffon pieces in neutral, muted hues. Blacks and blues are included as well to help weigh out the neutrals.  I'll keep you updated on the debut of Paper Crown Fall 2011- stay tuned!
